Artist Reception - Diana Boegel

Welcome our newest featured artist - Diana Boegel

Diane has always loved art. She came from a creative family and was always encouraged in her love of drawing and painting. She has been studing art since the age of 8. In 1993 she met David Hardy who ran private art classes out of a small funky space once a hardware store. There, for the next 27 years she studied and learned classical painting and drawing techniques dating back to the 1600’s done  by the old masters, eventually teaching there until moving and settling near Sonora Ca, where she lives and works in her home studio. In addition to fine art, she has studied scientific illustration as well as calligraphy.  Her work is collected in the U.S. and abroad and is on permanent collection at two non- profit organizations that supports adults with developmental disabilities.
